hi

one friend have a bmw e30 325 converted to turbo, this year he install another turbo, a bigger one, and the engine dont work properly, dont rev, cut, bangs, etc.

i thing the original coil (the engine its working with the original coil) cant spark´s when the pressure increase.

what kind of ignition coil he needs to install? or its possible to run with the original coil increasing the dweel.

remember that this car is not squirted, its runing with the original motronic (with the moded eprom), last year with the small turbo, the car runs very good.

best regards

I'm not sure if there's a way to make the stock ECU add dwell. I'd probably use a CDI box to get a hotter spark.

installed a powerfull coil, the car runs better, but not enough

i thing it is time to squirt this engine, its runing with the original motronic, with is ugly MAF sensor, and that sensor its creating very problems.

i just only need to know one thing, does i need a second triguer input on the megasuirt? or just only the 60-2 wheel is enough?
the engine runs with one coil and distribuitor. im not sure, but i thing that is an M20 engine.

best regards

M20 motors run great with just the crank trigger. You'd only need a second trigger if you're going for something very exotic like 6 cylinder sequential coil on plug or an MS3 with sequential injection.
