HELP! Hydrolocked engine question

I'm starting to really get fed up with this.
I don't know why it happened but I just hydrolocked my engine with fuel. The other night I had it up and running again and finally felt like I was moving forward with my tuning of the idle. Today I had some free time and decided to give it another go.
First off, before I changed anything, I tried to fire it up again like I had left it. Sputtered a few times but would never catch. Been the story of my life with this thing.
So I started messing around with the cranking pulse widths trying to see if something different helped. Nothing.
Did a couple of cranks in flood clear mode and would get the engine to sputter a few times but wouldn't fire. The only time it acted like it wanted to take off is if I held the accelerator down about 50% or so.
I've been using a few parameters from another persons tune and noticed they had their PWM% set at 75. I changed that to 100 for mine since I have high impedance injectors. Could this have been the problem? At least I thought I had high impedance injectors.
I'm really starting to consider swapping on a carb just to at least have a consistant running vehicle. I'm about to pull my hair out with this thing.
Anyone in the Dayton, OH area make house calls?
Thanks,
