Do you mean it's not reacting to CLT, IAT, etc? Exactly what things did you change?

hey matt! i started to follow the instructions to install the rx7 daughtercard, then decided to switch to edis. i pulled R19,Q4,Q20,R39 and D8, it has to be in one of those, its so hard to tell if i have solder bridges or not. if Q4 and Q20 are bridged, are they fried?when ms is stimd i can turn the pots, cycle the power, and the read outs change(except rpm)on megatune

im going to try pulling Q4 and 20 to clean the pins and re solder

That is your IAC circuit - it has nothing to do with the RPM input. Note that two pins on Q20 have a 1 ohm resistor between them - it's easy to mistake that for a solder bridge.

Q4 and 20 did nothing

got any ideas on what would make the ms do this? megatune on,all gauges read numbers, turn off ms, change pots on stim, power ms on,numbers have all changed.i can make the numbers do what ever i want ,just not in real time??? 1 other thing i did

pulling the DC, it fell out of my hand and hit the floor, bent a pin and when i bent it back,of course it snapped right off. its the no.1 pin on the DC,i un soldered the broken part and replaced it with a snipped off lead(as im typing this im thinking thats my problem)MATT dude thanks for all your help

Could you post a copy of your MSQ file? I'd like to check your settings.

The MSQ is the file you get when you save the tune.

Prepare to be one by the time you finish this project.
Below the Save - Preview - Submit buttons, you will find a pair of tabs marked "Options" and "Upload Attachment." Click the Upload Attachment tab. Then click the "Browse" button that appears. A file open dialog box will pop up. Select the file, then click Open. Then fill in the description in the field below the file name. Once you have all that, click Add the File. Repeat this, starting with "Browse," to add more files. Once you have these all attached, you can enter your post and the files will be attached.

I noticed all your lag factors are set to zero, which will cause all kinds of trouble. Did you by any chance just open MegaTune and start composing an MSQ before you connected to the Megasquirt or loaded a valid file? If so, MegaTune will default to a file full of zeros. If that's the case, I recommend reloading the firmware and starting with the default values - either edit them in the Megasquirt or save them and edit them offline.

i tryed the reload thing, uninstalled downloader,mt,ht....eveything to do with ms.then reloaded all new and im still getting the same results.its gotta be somthing simple,it all seams to work just not in real time???

power off change pots, power on needles have moved, power off change pots ,power on needles have moved.and now the only light that works on the stim is the power led. /d15 on ms is always on and d14 flikers for a bit then comes on solid(all lights except fp blink when first powered)

This one has the same mistakes as before. You didn't try to reload any of your old MSQs, did you? How did you make that file?
