LED issue

First problem was with one LED D16 not working and tapping it resulted in an intermittant.
So i resoldered this and it stopped completely.
So i removed it and dont ask me how, but i found it would only work if soldered right on the very top of the pcb.. without the legs going through.. No matter what this was the case.

Anywho.. along came the time to swap the transistor for the middle LED (miata specific mod for the cooling fan.. swap Q7 for Q4)
Anywho, the swap went seamingly ok except now D15 and 16 were both permanently lit.. d14 working fine still.
So i had a go at cleaning up Q7 spot and resoldering.. same result after. And again and again. until finally D15 is lit permanent and again D16 has given up completely working (though the LED tests ok)

So what i'm saying here is can I build these LED circuits in the proto area and just jump from the R25 and R28 for each LED and then back over to R27 and R29 when done ?

Ok I think i've answered my own question after looking at the circuit diagrams. Yes i cxan do this.. i just need to find which side of the resistors to take from and cut the leg the right side and join that to my jumpers... should be a doddle... but probably wont be
