how to make autotune work faster

For discussing Phil Tobin's TunerStudio MS is the MegaSquirt edition of TunerStudio, a next generation tuning application. It provides the ability to configure and tune all MegaSquirt controllers and is 100% compatible with MegaTune ini files and msq's.

The help keeps improving. Press F1 and look at the VE Analyze Help. It gives description of what every setting in VE Analyze does.

I`ve had a play with this today, The cell resistance Change dropdown affects how much autotune can change a cell from its starting value to what AT wants it to be.

To understand the Cell resistance, just think of it as how Easy or Hard it is for Autotune to change the existing values to new ones.

Almost, but it is really how quickly, or how much data saying what it wants to be it takes to get it there. It doesn't limit how much it can change from the starting value.

There are 2 ways it does this:
1) The harder the setting, the more weight is given to the starting value.
2) The harder the setting the more direct the input data has to be on the cell before it will contribute to the recommended value
