yeah guys i started reading the megamanual, then i realized that most of what i was reading was about the DIY kits and didnt apply to the PNP... im sure there is very useful info there, i am having trouble sifting thru the info overload to get to what i need. i might just wait till it arrives, and go from there.

im AMAZED how much i learned in the few minutes it took me to read this, not that i didnt already know some of the basics, but WOW, i really feel like i understand things better!

i just realized this wont work with my current laptop with vista... i guess i have to get another just for tuning the car, is that correct???

Generally Vista works OK - the biggest problems I've seen have been some bad USB adapter drivers (seems to be mostly solved now) and accidentally locking oneself out of saving the tune files and data logs (can be fixed with some changes to User Access Control if using MegaTune; TunerStudio generally avoids this problem).

matt is correct, i wasnt installing the program properly, when i did it right, it installed and came right up. thanks.
