My 1985 Volvo 740gle uses a Bosch P/N 1346792 hall effect sensor in the distributor. I would like to supply it with 12v but I can not find a voltage specification for this sensor. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I am running ms2 v3.57 board

Sorry I dont know the specs but you could use a volt/Ohm meter to measure the voltage going into it from the original wire.
Just an idea

Most of all OEM hall sensors use 5V
But, i saw some China hall sensors want work good only with 12V

Not sure, but many Bosch Motronic ECU share only +5V for Hall sensor. I didnt find any wiring with +12V for hall.
