Mustang TFI Dedicated Ground?

For a 91 5.0 Mustang with TFI w/ MSD 6A and MS2 V3, should I run the 'dedicated ground TFI' wire from the EECIV harness to the #2 pin on the MS2 wiring harness? Or is this not needed since the MSD is grounded?

That would work; I believe this is a logical ground wire and grounding it to the MS should make for a clearer signal.

I have the same question.
1987 Ford 302 with Procomp CDI, MS-II v3.0.

What exactly wire I need to connect to the #2 pin on DB-37 connector?
is it ground on Ford TFI module?

Pin 2 is a ground that on our harness is simply used for the shield on the PIP signal. The other end isn't connected with TFI.
