Edis on toyota taco 3rz-fe

I put a edis system on my Taco engine and dont have room for a pick up wheel(36-1) The taco engine came w/ a 36-3 will it work for the edis system and what settings do i use...thanxx

The factory trigger wheel on this should be a 36-2 (For some reason, Toyota trigger wheels cause more confusion than any other design. I'm not sure why.). The 36-1 wheel pattern is hard-coded into EDIS and cannot be changed.

I made a pick up wheel to fit my crank pulley but it is bigger around than stock only other way is to open up motor and build one to take place of factory pick up...will the larger one work...I have a cnc plasma cutter by the way....

The diameter of the crank wheel won't make any difference to the timing because it will still travel the same deg/ sec. The only thing that might cause a problem is if it was so much larger than the original wheel that the teeth were way wider than what the original sensor was designed for.

When i cut the wheel i cut the teeth to a point w/ a 1/16th flat on top should i cut it the same width as stock wheel...
