I am having trouble with Bosch fuel pump part numbers. Every spec sheet that I find from Bosch lists a typical Bosch part number like "0 580 464 085", but nearly all the companies in the US that sell the pumps have a five digit number like "69458". The Bosch US website has very little info, it will only tell you what 5 digit part number goes with a specific vehicle. Does anyone know where to find a cross-reference from old to new numbers?

Can't help with your specific question, but the Bosch unit fitted to my '80s RV8 was also used by a large number of other EFI systems on engines ranging from 2 - 6 litre engines. So I wonder if they issued vehicle specific numbers for what is the same unit on others?

It's very likely it's an interchange or OEM specific part number. I have seen this with Bosch sensors.
Give Robert Bosch US a call, they are very helpful. I needed pin connections for an FRP sensor with a Ford part number. I left them a message, they called me back, gave me the info I needed. I asked about detailed specs, they didn't have it on this continent, but they were willing to get Stuttgart on the line if I wanted it.
