Are BIP373 used in 3-wire Bosch COPs?

I have, what I think are 3-wire Bosch COPs and my COPs pinout looks similar (ECU sig, 12V, GND) to the Bosch COP drawing in Matt's BIP373 data sheet http://www.DIYAutoTune.com/downloads/pr ... asheet.pdf
How could I verify that my COPs have/don't have the built-in ignitor (probably using the same BIP373) circuit? I could set up an experiment on the bench, if I knew how to proceed? Any comments?

I think measuring the inductance from a LCR meter would give me some insight, if these might have built-in ignitors

I have tried to understand how this Suzuki Verona COP works. There are three pins (Ground, +12V, ECU). I can't determine if it's only a plain coil, or it has an igniter built in.
I measured 0.8 ohms across the 12v & ECU pins (which tells me that's the primary coil, but I get an open circuit resistance from the spark plug terminal to the ground pin. That makes no sense to me at all. I would expect to see like 20k ohm resistance across the secondary coil. Anyone have any ideas on whats going on here with these COPs?

The Verona COPs are just a plain ignition coil with NO built-in ignitor, So, fire them just like any ignition coil with a 2-3ms dwell. I have one firing now.
