Read the manual to see if your question is answered there before posting. Many users will not reply if the answer is already available in the manual.
If your question is about troubleshooting, configuration, or tuning, you MUST include your processor type (MS-I or MS-II) and code version in your post. If your question is about PCB assembly or modifications, you must also include the main board version number (1.01, 2.2 or 3.0). For tuning/troubleshooting questions, please attached a datalog and your MSQ file to your post.
If you have questions about MS1/Extra or MS2/Extra code configuration or tuning, please post them at www.msextra.com Such questions posted here will be moved to: a temporary MSextra sub-forum, where they will be removed after 7 days

- Set every cell in the VE table to 100.
- Set the TPSdot and MAPdot values very high (as high as the INI will allow, try 9999999 and the software will let you know what the maximm is).
- Make sure X-Tau is disabled.
- Set the voltage correction to 0 msec/Volt.
- Connect the coolant temperature sensor lead to ground through a 220 Ohm resistor (this will give an indicated 170 to 180 degrees F, so warm up enrichments won't activate).
- Connect the intake air temperature sensor lead to ground through a 3400 Ohm resistor (eliminating air density compensations, and setting the temp to a constant 70 degrees F - the MS standard).
- Disable the 'ASE Hot Start Enable'.
- Set the barometric corrrection to 'None'.
- Make sure you set the EGO controller authority to zero.
I think that should do it, but I'm sure others will chime in if I missed something.
Lance.
