coil that can be used with edis

Post by sr20miatact »

Hi im looking into doing a crank trigger wheel in my sr20det swapped miata. I am going to be doing a crank trigger wheel from diy auto tune. The s13 sr20 uses coil on plus with out built in ignitor but it has a ignitor thats inline like the 1.6l miata. I was looking to into doing edis as it looks simple but i would like to be able to keep my stock coil on plugs. If i cant use my coil on plugs i would like to try the DIY auto tune IGN-4 coil.

if the crank trigger is a 36-1 go with the edis module and tie 1/4 & 2/3 together for the module's output ! instant Waste spark COP ! I run my dodge 2.0 dohc coil with an edis4 module , haven't experienced any troubles so far !!
