Help Setting up EDIS4

Post by papaduke187 »

I built my MSII v3.0 board. I'm about ready to setup an EDIS4 system on my engine. I installed the High Current Driver Setup on my v3.0 board when i was building it. Was this the right thing to do? if not how do i remedy this? what do i need to do aside from follow the guide to setup my EDIS system? also, how exactly does my tach get the signal? i look forward to hearing your reply. Thank you!!!

If you are running the Ford module you won't need the high current driver. (you don't need to remove it though) The only connections required to MS are the PIP and SAW signals from the Ford module. (PIP for tach signal and SAW for timing control)

Here is the EDIS manual. It should cover your other questions.
