I have a Toyota MR2 with a 4AGE blue top engine running on MSII. I would like some guidance for setting up automatic mixture control. Right now, I have the auto-generated VE table. I have an Innovate wideband.

In the AMC, any recommendations for settings for:
  • Step Size (%)
  • Minimum VE Change (%)
  • Vertex Tolerance (RPM)
  • Vertex Tolerance (kPa)
  • Table Change Interval (sec)
  • Flash Update Interval (sec)
Again, my VE table has not been tuned at all.

The rpm bins are 700 rpm apart.
The kPa bins are generally 5 kPa apart.

I appreciate any insight that you can provide.

I suggest using Megalog Viewer, (MLV), to tune your VE table.
It goes like this:
1 Drive and datalog.
2 Run datalog through MLV and let it adjust your VE table, based, of course, on your AFR table.
3 Upload new MSQ.
4 Repeat as needed

Alternatively, you can purchase a full version of Tunerstudio, (TS). TS has the option of tuning your VE table as you drive, and IMHO, is much easier to use than Autotune.
With either of these options, you don't have to disable acceleration or go into your .ini file and change anything to make it work.
