2.2 upgrading to MSIIwiring issue

Well, I hope this is in the right place.

As I recall:
My daughter and I built this MS I box about 2004 or so...
a year or so later I sent the MS box to ( I think) DIY autotune and
they did the 'flyback mod' for the low impedance injectors in the D-jet controlled B20 engine.
and I ran the box in my '71 142 Volvo for a couple of years. Never even opened up the box to see what had been done.

MS 2.2 box sits on the shelf for several years...

Now I want to switch to MS II to control a 4-wire IAC stepper motor on my current 242 project. I ordered up a brand new daughter card and opened the box, only to find a conflict.
Seems the previous mod has a (black) jumper to 'X2' in the way of the 4 jumper wire needed to run the stepper motor which needs x2, x3, x4, x5.
I will post some pics to show what I mean.

My question is ...
Do I have to remove the flyback mod to make room for the MS II daughter card or rewire the black jumper or???

That looks like some sort of relay control mod.

I must confess that I don't remember all the functions that may have been added to this Megasquirt. Maybe you can help me identify what is going on and what it would take to add the MSII daughter card I just purchased last week From DIYAutoTune! (excellent service and speed)

I also have another MS1 box that is not in a car (sold that car and returned it to LH2.4). This one was modded by a guy on turbobricks who made it a Plug and Play package for my then 1991Volvo 940se. Worked great, but I never really explored or understood what all he did to make it work on my car.
Maybe this one is a better candidate to be upgraded to MS2 ? It is also possible that the pigtail that is coming out is to control the stock IAC, in which case, maybe I can use it as is and not even do the upgrade (for now).

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
