hi ,
when using the relay board with EDIS, I understand position #11 is used for SAW and Position #15 is far PIP.
Can I use the relay board to get the switched 12v or do I need to get it from somewhere else?

You could use the 12 volt injector supply terminals to power the EDIS module if you have a large enough injector fuse.

It's probably just a quirk of mine, but I like to keep the injection ECU on its own feed direct from the battery. And provide a separate one for EDIS. The original ignition feed might do if the cable etc is up to the extra current.

I think I can use one of the a spare terminals on the 12v injector terminal block, but I'm not sure what fuse they go through.

I think the injector banks go through the 7.5 amp fuses, so I assume the 4 injector 12v terminals are just protected by the main power fuse whihch is 20 amps.

do you think this is ok?

Initially I was going to get the power for EDIS directly from the Battery too, but I have a bit of a mess in the engine bay at the moment .

There are power windows that I installed a while back and a WBO sensor and Control unit, plus a bunch of other things. They are all getting power directly (through a relays) from the battery. So the EDIS would be just another bunch of wires going from one end of the engine bay to the other.

I still haven’t put the Relay board in yet, so that will just make things more cluttered.
I was thinking of re-using the relay board for the EDIS to help reduce the amount of clutter.

Otherwise I will need another relay and power source etc...

BTW what’s the current draw on the EDIS? What size fuse would you recommend?

The MS manual recommends a 20 amp fuse for EDIS8, but I've not measured the actual current in use.
On my car I used the original ignition circuit to feed EDIS. It was built with coil and dizzy, so I uprated the feed from ignition switch to EDIS, changing the original 1mm cable to 2.5mm.
Basically I reckon it's more important to have a 'clean' feed to the MS than to EDIS.
