Hello,
Its been a long while since I messed with my megasquirt controller. I have been running V3.0 MS1 for 5 or 6 years on a GM HEI 4 pin. Fuel only no spark. For ease of setting my timing, I am changing the distributor back to the original delco unit, but using a pertronix unit instead of points. As I remembered running the tach signal off the GM HEI was the same as the negative side of the coil. I went back and looked at my V3 build and went through the build instructions. Looks to me that all I need to do is hook up my current HEI connection for the trigger to the negative side of the coil on the pertronix set up.

With a single coil setup, it shouldn't matter to MS how that coil is fired. As even points or any type of electronic trigger produce basically the same sort of signal.
