i have a 86 cressida with ms2 3.57 running for a while now, i had to run direct power to the fuel pump wire to turn it on, im pretty sure it's the relay wire it's pretty thin 16-18gauge wire,. if i try to use the pink fp wire off ms it won't run, is there a setting in the ecu to control the fp turn on point thanks

Normal operation of the fuel pump is: at key on the fuel pump will run for a few seconds then shut off unless there is a rpm signal signifying engine start.

is it possible that the fuel pump power source would be 16-18gauge wire? i tried to activate that wire with 9v battery to see if it was the fuel pump relay wire. and i got nothing., in the diargram it does show it as the power side of the relay i guess.
