MSefi.com read only forum (Jan.15,2018)

I've looked all around the message boards and in the megamanual, but I seem to be getting different results in regards to what exactly the most recent firmware version is for MS2 v3. On this message board, it says 2.905, which agrees with here: http://www.megamanual.com/ms2/code.htm

But when I go to where the megamanual states: http://www.megamanual.com/files/ini/ the highest version is listed as 3.76. As far as I know, that isn't the MS2/Extra firmware, so what is it? Reading the first few lines of the .ini of both 2.905 and 3.760 show that they were edited in late July, which just adds to my confusion...

2.905 is the latest for MS-II. 3.76 is beta code for Microsquirt and the Sequencer. It can't easily be loaded on an MS-II because MS-II don't have the right serial monitor to load the extended code page structure of the newer code (MS-II doesn't have the hardware to take advantage of most of the updates made in the 3.76 code anyhow).

Thanks, Lance! While we're on the subject, is there any section of these message boards, or anywhere else for that matter, that refers to the developments which use the 3.76+ firmware? It might be helpful to know, since I can keep in mind that the discussions there probably won't pertain to my application.
