AFR does not change on gage

For discussing Phil Tobin's TunerStudio MS is the MegaSquirt edition of TunerStudio, a next generation tuning application. It provides the ability to configure and tune all MegaSquirt controllers and is 100% compatible with MegaTune ini files and msq's.

AFR does not change on gage

Post by Onceler »

I am having trouble with the AFR not changing on the TS gage. I have set the EGO O2 sensor to LC1 Innovate default under the project properties->Settings tab. However, when I try to use the calibrate AFR table, I select Innovate LC1 default and then write to controller. Everything goes fine. However, when I close that window and re-open it, the EGO sensor says Narrowband. I've repeated this numerous times with the same result. Am I doing something wrong?

Ok, I just read that it is normal to see the narrowband default at the calibrate AFR table screen? Anyways when I try to use VEAL it shows that there is an active filter of calibrating O2 sensor. and the gage on the dashboard still does not respond, it stays at 7.60 I believe. I am going to try re-calibrating my o2 sensor tomorrow, but it seems odd to me that this just started, it was working fine before.

Ok, I tried to re-calibrate my O2 sensor and a I got an error code 3. So it seams I damged my O2 sensor. So, I'll go buy a new one and mount it in a different location. So, TunerStudio is operating correctly :D I posted all of this here because I just recently switched to TS and thought it was the problem, but it is not.
