IAT sensor

this can be used on turbo engines? description says for naturally aspirated vehicles

* I read on other forums that if you used open element IAT sensor (plastic material) the boost pressure can break the filament and enter to the combustion chamber*

It reacts a bit more slowly and so we do not recommend it on turbo applications. While cracking the open element is a theoretical possibility, I've never heard a customer reporting it actually happened. Also, it would be more likely to be cracked by air speed rather than air pressure. If the charge pipes are a reasonable diameter, that shouldn't happen.

the piping form the turbo is 2.25" and will go over the throttle body to 2.5" and will be running up to 20psi of boost
