Stim Question-Ign LED Stuck ON

MS2 v3.0 board. Almost have it in the vehicle and decided to go with a gm HEI ign instead of controlling the coil directly. My question/problem is that I installed the High Current Ign Circuit and now decided to go the HEI route. Instead of adapting the HC ign circuit to control the HEI can I just unsolder the jumpers and connect JS10 to the Ign pad? I hope I didnt mess anything up because after I got that done and plugged the stim in the IG led stays on constantly and only dims slightly when I increased the rpms, when they are at zero it is at its brightest. Is this normal? Do I have to remove all the High Current Ign compnents from the board to go this route?

Sure, you could just jumper out the high current driver. The usual HEI settings will make the Stim IG LED stay on at zero RPM.
