HEI tach for trigger.........

Is it feasible to trigger ms from an HEI using the VR conditioner circuit instead of the opto circuit?

Just curious about this. Seems to work fine on the bench.

Yes, you can do this. I have used both on my 406 sbc with HEI. You may have to adjust the VR pots a bit to get a clean signal.
