hello, i was just wondering if i need to have the 330 ohm resistor when installing in a msII v3.57 board w/ b&g code. i have read the write ups on it and just not too sure if im to put it in to run one coil? thanks

You only need the pull-up circuit with the 330 Ohm resistor if you are
not controlling a coil directly. The manual says:
Note: If you are using the high current driver circuit to control an ignition module instead of a coil directly (and don't want to use the processor port directly - i.e., you have not jumpered JS10 to IGN), you likely need to to add a pull-up resistor. This allows the signal to go both high and low, rather than floating and low).....
Since you say you will be controlling a coil, you don't need the pull-up circuit or its resistor.
