IAC valve connecting

I have an ITB manifold for a Chevy V8, that has a vacuumchamber below the crossram runners. Normally only the MAP sensor is hooked up to this chamber.

I would like to use an IAC control valve to regulate idle + fast idle. Could I hook this up to the chamber as well ? Would this cause any problems.

The thing is that if I do not do it like this, I would have to drill into each runner and make a lot of plumbing to make it work.

Thanks

Yves

If the chamber is common to all runners, and after the throttle, I don't see this a big issue.
I would suggest the MAP and IAC not use the same vacuum port though.
Wait for a few more opinions though- someone else may have a better idea.
