MSefi.com read only forum (Jan.15,2018)

I'm a newbie with limited knowledge of electronics, so I have a pre-assembled MSII and relay board. The MSII has been modified to drive coils directly with a trigger wheel set-up. I was told I could use the FIDLE output on the relay board to provide a signal to the tachometer in my dash if I used a 12v "pull-up" with a 1K resistor that was supplied to me. I was told to solder the resistor from 12v source on the relay board to the FIDLE pin on the terminal block.

I feel O.K. doing this, but I need some help selecting the right places to solder the two ends and to make sure I put the right end of the resistor in the right place. It looks like I could easily tap into the fuel pump fuse block and the FIDLE pins on the underside of the relay board. Sorry to post such a simple question, but I'm way more confident as a mechanic than an electrician.

This would require MS2/Extra code, which has a separate support forum at MSExtra.com. B&G code does not have a tach output function.
