Screwdriver slipped during VR adjustment... D19 dead

First post, unfortunately its not a success story just yet.

My first MS build has been going fairly well so far, I have built a MS2 3.0 for my honda and managed to slip while adjusting the "top" vr pot R52. The screwdriver head ended up arcing r17, d3, and or R30.

I have done a fair amount of troubleshooting and I have determined that D19 gets REALLY hot during boot, so I purchased a replacement that I will install soon. as of right now, i am looking for speculation on the rest of my potential problems that will start to show up after I replace d19.

The usual cause of a dead D19 is if the 5 volt plane has ever been shorted to 12 volts. Usually, it's likely to blow first and prevent anything else from being damaged.

Fixed without any fuss.

Had my honda running great, but starting was nearly impossible... Determined there was just too much noise to ever use the VR's sucessfully, so i will just be going hall/coil on plug sooner than I thought.

I believe the VR can be used to read my AEM hall effect cam sensor... I plan on purchasing a hall effect add on to add the 1x cam wheel from the aem sensor.

FWIW.....

There are non metallic screwdrivers available from many sources.

No intent to be critical here. Just thought it might be helpful.
