tip in?

hey guys

On my MSII I am having difficulty finding a solution to my problem.

When I initially press the throttle when switching gears the engine jerks quite badly unless I use 5% or less throttle when switching gears.

If I gently apply throttle and roll through the gears eventually getting to WOT, then its fine and no jerking.

I have heard that this is called "tip in"

Where can I look in Tuner Studio so correct this issue?

Thanks

It's a combination of things and I'm trying to figure it out myself. Seems like this:

correct timing and afr during throttle lift and shift.
correct timing and afr during throttle tip in

The fueling for tip in is sensitive and must be adjusted with acceleration enrichment

So this is tuning. Unfortunately there isn't an Easy button.

Thanks for the advice.

I did a little work on tuning this morning and have smoothed things out quite a bit. Idles a lot better. Revs up a lot smoother. Have a nasty hole around 3300 rpm... Have to figure that one out.

As far as the tip-in, i'll look into that too.
