MSefi.com read only forum (Jan.15,2018)

Hi, I have an issue when trying to save my msq. the issue is present when I manually try to save or if TS automatically tries to save the MSQ or a restore point. The error message indicates that access is denied. I am using windows XP. The issue is present working offline or connected to the controller. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the TS software with no change. I believe it may be something I have inadvertently set on the pc. Any information on what I need to check would be great. Thanks.

Did you alter where TS normally stores its projects? You need to look at properties for that folder and make sure it isn't locked in some way. Sounds like it may be read only.

That was it. The TS folder was set to read only. Unchecked and works fine now. Thank you for answering such a rookie question!
