Hooking up Megasquirt 2 to a Crane Hi-6
In order to have the factory tach work I had to install a tach adapter (Crane #6000-8910). Here is a link to the instructions;
http://www.cranecams.com/uploads/instru ... -8910_.pdf
In the instructions is says that "The tach adapter simulates
the action of the coil and generates a high voltage pulse
whenever the OE module triggers."
I had no problems with it working with the Ford A9l computer. Will this high voltage pulse be a problem for the MS2? Thanks.
