The MegaSquirt Project has experienced explosive growth other the years, with hundreds of new MS installations occurring every week - a phenomenal success! MegaSquirt has been successfully used in all aspects of Internal Combustion engine applications including R&D, Industry, Race, and Research. The MS project has transformed itself from a simple R&D project into a full-featured mature engine control system. To reflect this the support structure has also changed to meet the needs of MegaSquirt Users.
Moving forward, the R&D forums for MegaSquirt project are in a read-only mode - no new forum posts are accepted.
However the forums will remain available for view, they still contain a wealth of information on how MegaSquirt works, how it is installed and used. Feel free to search the forums for information, facts, and overview. While the R&D forum traffic has slowed in recent years, this is not at all a reflection of Megasquirt users, which continue to grow year after year. What has changed is that the method of MegaSquirt support today has rapidly moved to Facebook, this is where the vast majority of interaction is happening now. For those not on Facebook the msextra forums is another place for product support. Finally, for product selection assistance, all of the MegaSquirt vendors are there to help you select a system, along with all of the required pieces to make it complete.

I have a new set up on my hot rod and I am also new to all this but so far having fun. not sure if this is the correct place to post his cond. but here goes. I have set up a 350 chevy with a 6-71 blower that has been using 2 600 holleys and now has been set up with 3 2.5 throttle bodys from a 4.3 v6 chevy along with a plate holding 8 56Ib. injectors the fuel rail runs around the outside of the plate. I am currently using a ms1 2.2 just to see if I could make this work. the engine stars and runs and you can drive it runs good when I try to go above 4000 rpm it wants to shut off some times it will stall but restarts. I checked fuel pressure ok. I could not get it started with tuner studio had togo back to megatune and install bg original code engine started right up I tried using autotune from tunerstudio can I use this with ms1 2.2 I know this is the cheapest ms . I just wanted to see if it worked. any help would be appreciated. thanks ED
Yes I have a wide band o2 lc-1 I will send you the logs soon. engine would not restart last night no matter which download I used from tunerstudio as soon as I downloaded from megatune it started could this problem be my cable from the controller to my lap top. I have to use a usb to db9 adapter cable ?
found the problem, the engine was getting way to much air I had to really richen it up to compensate I found it by disconnecting one of the three throttle bodys and the engine rev. fine accually ran very well. I went into the ve table and had to adjust it. I may end up using just two throttle bodys. as it just has way to much power for the street. the car weighs only 2100Ib. Thanks for the interest. maybe someone out there has a similar set up
