2 Pulses or 6 Pulses per cycle?

Hi all,

I have a Triumph TR6 (6 cylinder engine) and a MSII ver3 board. I recently changed to 6 pulses per cycle and the engine runs much better and idle is greatly improved. The noise of the injectors is a lot more pronounced now even though the pulse width has reduced. My question is, is it quite ok to run my engine with this setting or will there be too many injector cycles at higher revs for the MSII?. Thanks for your input in advance.

Cheers

Tony (Western Australia)

Forgot to mention....2.89 code and running alternate firing with Alpha-N. Fueling is reading correct on EGO. I also have port injection as I have 6 individual butterflies.

If your duty cycle is below 85% at full throttle and redline, you don't have too many injector cycles.

Thanks for your input Matt, much appreciated, I'll leave it set at 6 squirts then. Now to spend the day tuning....woot!
