registration issue

I just down loaded latest stable version of tunerstudio and got the $59.59 registration code. I cut and pasted the emailed code as described. How many hours does it take to verify/activate the software. I have had an animated "Please Waite" box up there for about 1/2 hour. Software is not frozen but it is not activated either. It still I am unregistered.
Any help would be much appreciated. I would like to autotune sometime this weekend.

So I have had a working version "lite" for free which worked perfectly. I now payed for it and it not only won't activate but i now Tuner won't even run. Could it be Vista?

Try entering the registration manually instead of cut/paste.

BTW: what version of TS?

I did try to type it in and it resulting in the same thing. My firewall won't allow the communication and the manual process fails as well
After about 2 hours a box came up indicating I had to Step 1 copy the "Activation request text" and Step 2 paste it into another box which said it was not a valid request even though both "strings of text and numbers" matched. There was a Step 4 and 5 as well. To further complicate things the next Step 5 was to go to "link" that did not exist. Ever since all this TS no longer runs when I try to start it. Click, double ckick and even double clicking on a .msq.
Thanks for the suggestion.
All and all not a good day. Now I don't have a running copy of lite even.

Now I don't have a running copy of lite even.
I suspect that simply reinstalling TS would cure that.

wouldn't re install. Keeps finding files it can't overwrite and ignore doesn't work. Then I tried to uninstall it and the same thing occurred. I then used Revo to remove everything related to TS and after that it installed without a hitch, except it will not run.

Only other thing I can think of.........
Is your Java up to date?

Java should be up to date. Keep in mind an hour before I purchased TS and downloaded the latest stable version I had a copy of "lite v1.9xxx" that ran fine for the last year+.
I am a hater of Vista and am wondering if it is not happy with TunerStudioMS v2.5.05. I am going to try again today. I did have the latest version running yesterday for a bit because I was able to see it had opened my current .msq.

FWIW....... I have run TS on every Microsoft platform known to man (starting ~Win 3.11). My actual 'tuning computer', that I use in the car, is a Vista machine and works just fine. Other experiences may vary of course........

Not long after I responded to your post TS launched. It was about 1/2 hour after I double clicked on the icon. I not only launched but it attempted to register and failed. In the mean time EFIAntithetics has said I should install a beta version that makes registering easier. I did that to no avail. We will see what happens.
Thanks for all your assistance here and other issues I have encountered.
