Looking to convert an OLD Datsun

I want to put megasquirt on the old engine just for the heck of it. How would I go about installing injectors on this manifold? Could I install two(one on each runner) and run them in a batch configuration? The firing order is 1-3-4-2. Or would a TBI be my best bet?

With that manifold, I'd probably use TBI. There is a semi-sequential siamese port mode in MS2/Extra (see MSExtra.com for details) but that is a bit tough to set up. Without it, you will have a hard time using port injection on this motor.

Thanks, the engine is a 1.2L, but would it be OK to get a TBI off of a 2.8 or 4.3 s10? I'm thinking the throttle body and the intake would line up better with the dual butterflies vs a single butterfly TBI. Would I be able to tune the injector flow rate down enough or be able to get lower floor rate injectors to compensate for the smaller engine?

A 2.8 TBI is likely to work - how much power are you looking to make?

Stock is rated at 60HP. If I could get an extra 10, I'd be happy. I saw that the 1.0L Geo Metros have a throttle body that looks like it's just a bolt on affair. I may try that so I don't have to deal with making an adapter, but those metros were only rated for like what, 50HP? I'll probably get both and see which works best. Not really worried about crazy power, this thing's going in a little show truck in building and I'm swapping the 4 speed for a 5 speed in hopes that it will be able to do highway speeds and be reliable.

I'd suggest the intake manifolds and cams would be more likely to restrict your output than the TBs; you may need to adjust your injector selection or bump your rail pressure.
