Hi i am new to all of this and hope some 1 can get me pointed inthe right direction . Ok what is happening is that i built a ms2 and when i first hooked it up to my car i got it to start and run but not idle so i did the pwm mod like shown in the manual just below step 62 but after doing it the car wont start i hook the ms2 to the jimstim and the injectors are working and the ignition is firing so hook it up to the car and wont start unles you spray starting fluid in the throttle bodie then only runs until it runs out . i have power out to the injectors but when i hook a light to it and crank it it wont make the injector test light blink i have tested the harness and it is good . if i take wire and go from ground to the injector signal wire i can make the injectors fire do i need to build some sort of realy? the car is a pontiac fiero with a 1998 Audi A8 4.2 V8 engine it has bosch injector i will try to remove 1 to make sure of what it is

Can you post a data log of an attempted start and a copy of your MSQ? This will give more info about what's happening.

Maybe your idle valve is letting in too much air, have you tried it with the idle valve wiring disconnected..?

I found what was wrong when i built the pwm circuit with a radio shack tip122 i din't have the mica insolator so it was grounding out but i din't think that the mica was that big of a deal because they worded it should use not must use in the manual so it looked like a suggestion to me so all is good now and it runs but i do need to tune it so thanks for the help

Some manufacturers' TIP120s are fully insulated and some are not, so it depends on the one you are using.
