Adapter Cable to stock wiring

I am interested in building an MS-II for my 89 mustang. It's running a 2.3t from an 88 Turbo Coupe. I see where there is a cable to allow the 5.0 guys to simply plug into their stock harness. Is it possible for this cable to be re-pinned for the 2.3t?

Take a look at DIYAutoTune's
DIYBOB units; there is one for the
Ford 60-pin EEC-IV connector. You have to assemble it yourself using a
DB37 pigtail harness, but you were planning on re-pinning, which is probably harder than soldering a whole whack of wires!

Thank you, I think your right the DIYBOB might be the better option. The Adapter Harness says it works on the ford 2.3T but also said in the description that they didn't recommend using it on low impedance injectors. Rules me out, DIYBOB it is then.

You can use the cable with low impedance injectors if you add injector resistors. The problem is the stock wiring grounds are pretty marginal and do not take nicely to PWM current limiting, regardless of what adapter you are using.

Would I still need the injector resistors if I used the DIYBOB unit instead? Really trying to keep the wiring stock so I can toss the old LA3 ecu back in if I ever decide to sell.

Read Matt's post again - the issue is effective grounding through the harness, not the connector. Upgrading the grounds of the stock harness (extra wires in parallel) shouldn't be that hard.
