Getting started with LS2 Coils

Hi All,

I am putting my 1976 BMW 2002 together and plan to use LS2 coils with my MS-II. I was going to use EDIS but the LS2 coils seems to be a better option as I plan to turbo the car in the future. With that said, how do I trigger the coils? I have a 32/1 tooth wheel but no cam sensor. Should I wire them up in wasted spark?

Any thoughts on how to engineer this?

Thanks

Todd

Sorry - that is a 36 tooth wheel bought at 02again.

http://www.02again.com/

M10 Crank Pulley, 36:1 Trigger Wheel, 4.5” diameter alternator/water pump Pulley. Complete unit, ready to go conversion, for Megasquirt EFI or Crank fired EDIS ignition.

303 Stainless steel hub for strength and longer main seal life (aluminum will wear much faster). Slightly smaller (stock is 4.8”) split steel (long life) pulley for slight reduction of in the speed of the water pump and alternator (freeing up horse power by reducing parasitic drag).

Triggering LS2 coils would be easiest with MS2/Extra code, but this has a separate set of documentation and a separate support forum at MSExtra.com.
