Is there an advantage?

I'm sure it's been asked before but I can't seem to find the info. I'm looking for. if anyone has links please post them

I am running wasted spark right now but I've been thinking of maybe doing sequential and LS2 coils.

The engine is a NA 4 cylinder, Not a performance engine by any means but it may benefit from a hotter spark.

Thanks in advance

Just one old farts opinion of course, but you can't go wrong with the LS2 coils!

I think I worded this wrong.

I'm using a Ford wasted sprk coil right now. I was thinking about going to Sequential spark.

Would there be any advantage of sequential spark over the wasted spark setup I'm running now?

There aren't many installations that need sequential spark. Ragged-edge tunes need the ability to set the spark per-cyl; converted bikes tend to have weak charging systems that benefit from the reduced draw. I just heard of another reason, in that some boosted applications can get backfires in the intake tract if the valve seals are leaky. (I may have misunderstood the discussion, but the participants were quite firm that the problem went away once they swapped from wasted spark to sequential COP)
