292 Chev 6 cyl with GM 2bbl TBI, OK w/microsquirt?

seems like the micro should handle it. I have an HEI ini it now, can swap it out for a computer controlled version easily.

Anything to watch out for? it's basically a stock engine, no hot cam or anything. I was going to multi-port EFI it but looks like the issues with the firing order vs intake manifold splits are a problem. Don't really want to get into a sequential deal.

The TBI injectors are high impedance AFAIK, shouldn't be a problem for the MS.

Most TBIs I have seen are VERY low impedance injectors - like 1.2 ohms. MicroSquirt will need injector resistors for something that low. Check the injectors with a multimeter.

Also, MicroSquirt will not operate the stepper IAC valve. You can run without it though.

Just wondered why you want to use a MicroSquirt? Can't be short of space surely?
