Megaview TPS voltage display

Megaview displays TPS voltage at idle of 15.3 volts. Just off idle .4 volts as is should be. TPS is correctly calibrated with ADC counts and
dataLog shows 0 at idle. Any ideas why 15.3 volts would be displayed. That voltage is not even at the TPS. Thanks.

Rocket455,

First, you should upgrade from 2.890 code to 2.920 code, as it has a number of fixes. In 2.920 and 2.890, it looks to me that the throttle is labelled "TP" in the datalog, and is in % (not volts or ADC count). Give it a try, and post a datalog so we can look for ourselves.

Thanks. I will give it a try.

Update. Upgraded to 2.920. Recal of TPS would last for a few days then back to the 15 some volt reading at idle (not consistent) instead of 0 volts displayed in Megaview as it should be. Changed TPS and recal with same results. Problem has to be mechanical in Edelbrock Throttle Body. Throttle shaft would not return to exact idle position each time. This allowed the TPS to show -1% in TunerStudio and 15 Volts in Megaview. Solved the return issue by calibrating TPS and then turn idle stop screw in 1/4 turn. 0 volts at idle for over a week now. You would think turn in screw then cal TPS, but didnt work. Thanks again for the help.

I'm confused about this voltage reading.

TPS here with 2.920 reads percentage in MegaLogViewer.

It generally never resets to exactly 0% at idle here - just 'stickion' in the throttle mechanism, I'd say.
