ms2 + tablet + otg

i connect my windows based tablet thru ftdi usb-rs232 converter. i wonder if using this kind of cable will work or will cause any connection issues or can damage ms? or is there any way to mod ms so that it will charge my tablet that need about 2amps of current

The 5v regulator on MS is only 500mA. There is 5v from this available at the serial connector, but I doubt it gets passed through the serial to USB adapator.

and that means it:
1. will work just fine.
2. will not work a all.
3. will not work and MS might get damaged.
Pick one answer best to Your knowledge?
cause i don't understand Your answer, maybe my English is too poor to find the hidden answer

This probably won't cause damage to the MS2 - worst case is the USB to serial adapter may be hurt, but I don't see any way for a voltage problem to propagate past the USB adapter.
