Hello again,

Background: 4.3L chevy TBI with 8 pin module on distributor, using MS II and DIYAutoTune's 10 foot harness

I am in the process of finalizing my wiring and configuring my MS II. Gathering info from other posts, diagrams and manual this is what I set up.

Working with Pin 26 (the +5v ref for the TPS and the hall sensor). I have the wire coming off of the 8 pin module at pin B going to a relay that is hot only in run. On the other side of that relay I have connected the +5v ref wire coming from the TPS connector and the wire connected to Pin 26 from the harness.

In short, it looks like this:
Pin 26 (+5v ref) --------------- Relay hot only in run ------ Wire going to Pin B on 8 pin module
TPS +5v ref (connector ------

Question 1) Is this correct? If not, how should it be wired?


Regarding the shielded wire on pin 24 of the DIYAutoTune 10 foot harness I have connected it as follows:
White wire from shielded pin 24 connected to pin R on 8 pin module
Black wire from shielded pin 24 connected to the ground pin (G) on 8 pin module
Bare wire from shielded pin 24 not connected to anything

Question 2) Is this correct? If not, how should it be wired?
Question 3) Should the bare wire be connected to something? (disregard if question 2 is correct)
