changing to lambda for E85

I am running a roots blown E85 set up (injection above the blower only, no port). Originally, Peter Florence (very talented tuner) set up my system using the standard AFR for gasoline and just tuned accordingly. My engine seemed to be happy around 11-12 AFR. Anyway Im thinking of switching my Innovate wideband readings over to lambda because it normalizes everything out and I will be better able to recognize a lean and rich condition. Is there any other advantages to doing so? If I change the sensor over to show lambda, and the AFR tables over on my MSII, do I have to do anything with the VE tables? Perhaps I should just create another project and play around with it off-line. Sorry for the ignorant questions.
