Is anyone using an external fuel pump that has NPT or
AN fittings for both inlet and outlet?
The 89 Ford F150 pump looks like it might work wth an NPT -> AN adapter.
Anyone using anything else?

I used a Walbro GSL-392 on my 914-6, you can buy AN fittings from most Walbro suppliers for it, or you can buy them separately from a company like Summit. The fitting you're looking for is male 10X1mm to male AN.
The pump and the fittings are available from
APE
No relationship with the company, other than being a very satisfied customer. Good prices (especially on the in-tank pumps), and quick shipping/email responses.

Thanks! That is exactly what I was looking for. It's 4.5" x 1.75" and weighs about a pound.

Here is a graph of the flow I found, these are the model numbers for the in-tank versions. The external pumps have the same flow.

I ordered this pump on Saturday from
www.autoperformanceengineering.com
and I received an email (on Sunday no less) to make sure that I did not need the metric fittings I did not as I already had a set.
The pump was delivered on Wednesday. Great service and great communication.
The pump itself is a little jewel, compact and is very high quality.
