I was wondering if someone could give me a part number for any bosch air temperature sensor they used in their setup. Also where did you mount it. I'm thinking of making a plate to fit in the manifold where the fifth injector goes.

Not sure of a Bosch number for this. All the ones I know of are built into airmeters and not seperate. Some people have carefully cut open Coolant temp sensors to expose the element. Apply some silicone aroind the legs for stability.
You may want to use a differant place for the IAT sensor though. In the manifold may not give an accurate read. The 16V manifold wouldn't be as suseptable to this as the heat soaked 8V one though. But in theory its best to stick it in the air plumbing to the TB. If you are going turbo, between the outlet and the TB. A realy easy place is in the airbox itself, unless you have a turbo. Basically you need it to react as quickly as possible and not be drasticaly effected by the surrounding parts or heat soak.
Myself, I am using the GM style sensor. I am hoping to retain the Bosch coolant sensor though.....

YAY!!! Hey Adrian, if you give me a year and all, I have a copy of Etka and can get everyone a number!!!
I NEED one of these myself and you just solved it for me!!! I was all trying to figure out this resistor substitution crap.... But the right part would be even better most likely!
Let me know, and I will post it back here for all.
