Re: fuel pressure

i am guessing fuel pump then as regulator is new, i suppose i could fit a 1 way valve inline after the fuel pump that way no fuel can find its way back through the pump

fuel pressure

just a quick question as i am fitting injection to a car that never had it before.
the fuel comes from the tank, to a filter then to the fuel pump. the fuel pump then feeds the fuel to th fuel rail.
from the fuel rail it then feeds an external fuel pressure regulator, the pressure regulator holds ...

Re: fast idle valve

i also have this idle valve, can someone tell me if this is a straight forward on/off solanoid?
or is it a pwm job. if i connect 1 wire to ground and the other to 12v it behaves as if it is a dead short and that seems the same for several i have tried?
or is the case ground and the other 2 wires are ...

fast idle valve

i have 2 fast idle valves to use at the moment 1 is a ford type which i assume is a simple solanoid as it only has 2 cables. it has 2 holes with what looks like a plunger going between the two, i also have a bosch type which again i assume is a solanoid which has 2 tubes, inside appears to be a ...

coolant sensor

i have wired my coolant sensor up and on megatune it displays the temperature fine, my question is can i connect it too my existing gauge?
as 12v would normally run through gauge then through the coolant sensor. that would mean the if i hook up my gauge 12v would be going into megasquirt first ...

Re: EasyTherm settings for Ford Sensors?

can i use this formulae but using temperature of 20 degrees c instead of 30?

C30 = resistance at 30C
C100 = resistance at 100C
B1 = 2238 / (2238 + 2490) = .4733
B2 = 177 / (177 + 2490) = .0663
R1 = C30 / B1 - C30
R2 = C100 / B2 - C100
R = R1 + R2 / 2

in order to get the correct bias ...
