HI ,
I just installed the megasquirt ecu to a 4age engine using a directly fired coil , am using a triggerwheel with vr pick up, when idleing all plugs fire!! but when I increase the load it starts to missfire badly, but when I pull the bracket that holds the vr sensor out from the trigger wheel ,it fires grand , just wondering has anyone had any problems like this ,have a new vr sensor ordered , any info would be great before I pull my hair out !!!

Could be an input problem, could be an output. If you could post a data log of the problem happening and a copy of your MSQ file, I can go over them and see if I can narrow down which one it is.

Thanks for your reply ,I am very new to megasquirt, and havnt done a datalog yet ,but I will try a new Vr sensor and if that dosnt work Ill find out how to post a data log and post it , Thanks Matt,( my computer skills arnt the best!!!)
