Re: fuel pump not coming on

MS provides a ground circuit for energizing a fuel pump relay, whether you use a factory relay or add a relay to control the fuel pump. So, you will not see voltage at pin 37 of the DB37 connector because it reads to ground when the fuel pump signal is energized during priming pulse or when MS ...

Re: fuel pressure/fuel pump

If your fuel pump outlet does not have a check valve or the check valve is bad, the sytem will not maintain pressure. With my Bosch pump which has a check valve in the discharge fitting, my pressure is maintained with a gradual decay to zero after about 3 hours or so. The fuel pump should run again ...

Re: Un controlled Fast idle after engine start

What are you using for throttle bodies? You will likely need a Synchrometer to accurately adjust the linkage between throttle bodies to get equal flow on all throttles. What are you using for CLT(cylinder head temp sensor) and where are you placing it? You can get a wide variation of temperature ...

Re: fast idle valve

Mat,

The idle valve shown is also PWM type. It looks like one from 4.0 Ford Explorer. At the connector, the raised knotch side should be 12 VDC and the other pin is return. If you momentarily apply 12 VDC, it should fully cycle. But to get it travel part way to maintain a constant idle, PWM is used ...
