fuel pump not coming on

Post by Scotty Dont »

this is on a msii v3.0 board and when the ecu is powered up the fuel pump wire has no voltage. Am I missing a setting here, I thought ms was supposed to switch on the relay aslong as Prime pulse was greater then zero.

MS provides a ground circuit for energizing a fuel pump relay, whether you use a factory relay or add a relay to control the fuel pump. So, you will not see voltage at pin 37 of the DB37 connector because it reads to ground when the fuel pump signal is energized during priming pulse or when MS receives tach signals.
